Shopping with Royal Tan
These terms and conditions cover all orders placed at theroyaltan.co.uk. Royal Tan sells its existing clothing and apparel designs in the colours and sizes offered on each product page. Personalisation or custom alterations are not currently offered.
Product information & representations
Check the size guide, selected garment, colour and design before placing your order. Lifestyle images show styling and inspiration and may not represent every colourway; use the specific garment images and written description to identify what you are buying. Digital screens display colours differently depending on device settings; minor variations in display tint do not constitute a defect, though this does not affect your legal right to receive goods matching their written description.
Prices, VAT and payment
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£ GBP). Royal Tan is not VAT registered and does not separately charge UK VAT. Applicable delivery charges and the total cost are shown at checkout prior to payment. Available payment methods appear at checkout.
The Shipping Policy lists our current UK delivery charges. Any free-delivery or other promotional offer applies only when it is displayed at checkout with its stated terms.
Your order & contract formation
After placing an order, you will receive an automated order acknowledgement detailing your purchase. This email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute formal acceptance. Our legally binding contract for the goods is formed only when we confirm dispatch.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order prior to dispatch for reasons including unavailability of stock or materials, identified pricing or technical errors, or suspected fraudulent activity or abuse. If we cannot fulfil an order, we will notify you and promptly refund any payment taken for the affected goods. We will never substitute a different design, size, or colour without your express agreement.
Production, delivery & risk
Items are produced to order after checkout. The Shipping Policy explains production estimates, delivery speeds, costs, and the destinations currently available. Express postage speeds up transit time after dispatch; it does not eliminate or shorten production time. Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you upon physical delivery of the parcel to the address provided at checkout. If a delivery problem arises, contact us so we can investigate with the carrier.
Intellectual property rights
All graphics, artwork, apparel designs, branding, imagery, text, and website content on theroyaltan.co.uk are the intellectual property of Sean Edward Tregonning t/a Royal Tan. Purchasing an item grants you ownership of the physical garment only. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or resell Royal Tan designs or digital assets for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
Cancellations, returns and faults
Our Returns & Refunds Policy explains your statutory cancellation rights, return procedures, and return postage costs. Customers normally have 14 days after delivery to notify us of a cancellation, followed by 14 further days to return the items. Producing a standard design on demand after purchase does not remove statutory cancellation rights.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law.
Governing law & dispute resolution
These terms and any contracts formed under them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.

Email hello@theroyaltan.co.uk with your order number and full details of the issue. We aim to reply within three working days and will explain our proposed resolution.
